So I’m here right now at Cloud hookah lounge in Charlotte NC…. This is where it’s at!! Super happy about my food! My friends Karen and Jess didn’t tell tell me we were going to a hookah bar so I really wasn’t prepared for the smoke.
The food was good though. Just the right amount of seasoning… And I don’t mean just salt and pepper. I had lemon pepper wings and french fries. There was a slight delay on the fries but once they came they were hot, seasoned well, and very very very good. The lemon pepper wings were crispy, I’m not sure if they were fried or baked I think they were fried yeah they had to be fried because they were crispy, really crispy like I like them with just the right amount of lemon pepper and didn’t have all that butter stuff running in the bottom. The garnish on them was great… I think it was a lily or an orchid that they were garnished with which is just pleasing to the eye.
The bartenders and the waitresses had on really cute, I guess you could call them uniforms… they were like onesies, like the unitards that Beyonce wears with light skin color tights so they kind of looked naked but they weren’t. At first when I walked in I thought it was a strip club and I asked my friends like what kind of place did you bring me to because of the smoke and then the way the waitresses were dressed but it was really cool. They had booths in the center where you can sit and smoke your hookah. The bathrooms are clean and smell nice geez yeah the bathrooms are great.
Overall I’ll give this place 5 out of 5 stars, black owned, you know so y’all go out and support if you come to Charlotte definitely check it out! If you like that scene, the hookah scene, the music was great. I just wanted to dance all night I wish they had a dance floor not sure if there was one in there I didn’t walk all the way around but yeah that’s a good spot to go to and it was crunk for it to be Christmas Day.
