I couldn’t sleep… Well I went to sleep early and woke up about 1 a.m. so I decided to watch a little bit of television. I came across this movie called “Out Of Time”. It was released in 2021. It had a “Black” lady as one of the lead roles so hey I’ll check it out. This movie is available on Amazon Prime and it was really good. I mean, with a little more money behind it, it actually could have have been a blockbuster hit but that’s just my opinion. The starred Nadège August, Blake Boyd, and Kurt Long.
“Out Of Time” story line is basically aliens time traveling and law enforcement chases them to save humankind. That is a real quick breakdown but the movie… Even though but was a “B” movie had a lot more to offer. There was romance, drama, suspense, as well as action. Like I said it is a “B” movie but the main female character, Nadège, did an amazing job. She also stars in Tyler Perry’s “Ruthless” which I have never seen as well as “Young Dylan”, and “Alex Inc”; two more shows I haven’t seen but will now check out because of her! Blake Boyd was also very good.
Sometimes you fall upon a rare gem and “Out Of Time” is definitely a rare gem. Well put together story line, decent actors, action… I am like a big fan of “B” movies! I love the cheese. It reminds me of when I was a kid and started watching movies for the first time. I, unlike some people, can still tap into my imagination like children do and totally engulf myself in the movie. Become the main character. If I can do that while watching a movie then it doesn’t matter how much money was put into it, it’s great to me! (If for some reason they remake with more money… They better keep the main 2 lead actors!!).
