Clipped

As I sit with my mind in the clouds
Watching intently as the colors from the light go ’round…

A kaleidoscope of energy
Blue, green, and red circling my walls
My eyes dart from one vibrant color to the Next, trying not to Think of this hex…

If only I could separate my mind from this Physical body
This decaying fortress of solitude
Affecting my every mood
Spiraling into perplexity
Why can’t there be two of me…

Did I swallow my better half in the womb?
All the good parts of me I did consume
Like a beast wild and ravenous
Always seeking the next prey or a soul to Slay…

Follow me into the abyss
Let me give you the eternal kiss
Feel the breath from my lips
Distracted from the two wings I just clipped

Clipped
