Oh my goodness… Found the cutest dive bar in Charlotte! It’s called the Woodshed. It’s actually a gay bar which is cool with me even though I’m straight. Everyone there was super friendly, had great personalities, and I really enjoyed myself.
There are three bars throughout. Indoor and outdoor atmospheres, with the outdoor have multiple heat lamps for warmth so you really couldn’t even tell you were outside. I just wish it had been more females in there. It was male dominated tonight! The conversations were intriguing. The crowd was mixed old and young, White and Black. Oh, almost forgot the two pool tables! I love to shoot pool.
Technically there are three areas and each one plays different music. I mean, you gotta just go and check it out! It’s off of Queen City Blvd in Charlotte and I’m recommending everyone to go whether you are LGBT or straight! I love it. One last thing, it is a bar only they do not serve food so make sure you eat first because the drinks be on point!
