Is this WWIII? I don’t know. Will this war between Russia and Ukraine impact the whole world… yes. Many of us sit in our cozy homes unbothered by what’s happening around us in the universe. Right now there is a war going on in the Ukraine which was initiated by Russia.
I can not say that I know the history of that territory but from looking at a map it would appear that the Ukraine is a part of Russia, which from what I understand is the main issue. I am not sure what year they separated or Ukraine declared it’s independence but visually it appears to be physically part of Russia. I am not saying Russia is right by trying to reclaim it’s territory by any means. I think it has more to do with the Ukraine allowing the UN to set up military sites along the Russian borders. Would you not get a little protective if your neighbors position your enemies along the border? Right.
The thing that bothers me is how Joe Biden, the President of the United States sent 54 million dollars to help Ukraine with it’s war efforts. Why? Especially after he had just sent $40 million a week or two before. Now he has accepted hundreds of refugees from the Ukraine who will get free, excuse me, tax free money to help them once they arrive. Let’s talk about the 10 Ukrainian kids with cancer that are also coming and will receive better health care than our own American children! We as Americans have problems here in our own country that we could put that money towards like our homeless population that are sleeping in tents all across the U.S.A! We have sick kids here in America, not only with cancer but other diseases that are financial burdens on the parents but those parents can’t get any help. They have to beg and be put on wait list just like the low income community here in the United States all waiting on affordable housing after the local governments have allowed gentrification across the United States.
Not only that but it seems that no matter the country, people of color are going to be treated unfairly and with disregard. Since the war in Ukraine has begun there have been multiple videos released to social media showing Africans being turned away from trains and other means of transportation used to escape or flee the war. How can you be racist or colorist when there is a war going on?!? “Okay, all the white Ukrainians get to escape but you people of color can’t board this train! Now git”. That sounds like something being stated in the 1800s, not in the year 2022! Then the Ukraine s want to ask the Africans and other people of color to pick up arms and help fight! You want to charge the Africans money to fight your war…
It kills me when other races or nationalities act like they don’t understand why people of color, especially “Black” people (a word I hate using but that’s what you folks like to use) don’t really give a flying fruit roll up about what’s going on in the world. Why should we help or even care about anything other than “Black” people at this point!?! For years we have shown compassion only to continuously keep getting knocked down by others. Just last year the Asians went after the “Black” community when there were clearly more attacks on Asians by Caucasian people than “Black” people. That outcry from the Asian community prompted Joe Biden, y’all president, to give $40 million to the Asian community for extra protection in their neighborhoods. #seriously! “Black” people still to this day have not gotten reparations or anything for any of the mistreatment from any race, ever. We can’t even get protection from the police that are paid by our tax dollars to protect and serve us! WTF. Oh don’t forgive me if I offended anyone with this post, I am not sorry or apologetic. What I am is over it… when you folks want to live normal, peaceful, compassionate, and caring lives then maybe I’ll give two F’s but right now I’m at zero! God bless America and it’s ego.
